3.5 stars -- probably would be higher if I were more into prose poem/vignettes.
This collection of images from the Vietnam War and afterwards rings so true to me -- I work at VA and read statements by veterans as part of my job. It had a lot of the same feel as Tim O'Brien's "the things They Carried", just more tightly packaged. The echoes of war never die, in the minds of those who serve or in our society, but we can't always hear them through the hustle and bustle of daily life.
