I hadn’t read this series for a few months, so I felt a bit confused in the beginning getting my bearings on the world it existed in. It made it harder to get into the story at the start. But overall, I enjoyed this story. The author did a good job keeping the reader guessing on what would come next and when the main characters would finally find one another again.
