Not very plot heavy so focuses a lot on the protagonists inner monologue and thoughts. Normally I would like this if it was well written, but the prose is awkward and uninteresting. The concept was really cool and I loved seeing Montreal from Muna’s perspective. I wanted to like this book, and the concept of it is so beautiful and heartbreaking, but I think it was executed poorly. Something more should have been done with the confessional style of her job; I just feel as though it could have been a short story or maybe 100 pages shorter. If it wasn’t for book club I would not have finished it
