Waypoints: My Scottish Journey by Sam Heughan

funny hopeful inspiring reflective medium-paced

5.0

I don't often suggest one format of a book over another but this was infinitely more enjoyable as an audiobook. I think it was because Sam was reading it himself. We got to hear all the humor and intonations that he meant when he wrote this memoir. I'm not sure anyone else could've done it as well either. It's far more than just a story of his hike along the West Highland Way. While that was definitely enjoyable, I feel like it's also a parable of his life up until now.
