So unbelievably repetitive with so much filler. This could have been 200 pages less. It was better than ACOTAR in terms of plot and character development. A lot of dialogue, so much of it reiterated over and over again. I started getting antsy and nearly DNFd at 80% because I was just over it. Definitely taking a break and then reading the next one because I do enjoy the characters and the story. I don’t love how much it drones on when it adds little to the story. The ending felt rushed although set up the 3rd book well.
