Don't judge me! This was really good fun and I actually think the plot works! Lots and lots of great characters who I expect to be reading more about in the following books in the series (which I am definitely picking up at some point soon).
Mateo is a darling but I do think there were some inconsistencies in how he was written in the Mateo POVs and Evie POVs; he felt more reflective and real in his own chapters, in Evie's he became a bit too cliché.
The wolf part, Alpha (I mean, you know what you're getting into with a name like that!), was just a little too much for me. I don't like the 'Daddy' stuff and I would have preferred Mateo to be more present in the major sex scene for sure; it just felt wrong to sideline him in that way.
But all in all a fun and quick read and I'm definitely going to read the rest of the series, this one certainly teases what's in store for some of the other sisters!
