A surprisingly fun book that will probably bring some familiar feelings to those who have played minecraft. This novel manages to bring to life all of the feelings and accomplishments that come with playing the game for the first time. What happens when you discover a new craft or a new dungeon.
It is funny and you feel empathetic towards the main character, wondering how youd react in the same situation. It feels as real as can be for minecraft.
With that being said, it is pretty silly and the plot isnt quite there. It almost feels like a coming of age story with no ending.
Overall, if you like the game (which I presume you do of you are reading this) then Id say give it a read. It is fun and reinvokes the feelings of first playing Minecraft.
