Some people should have stuck to writing fanfiction.
Which is pretty much what this reads like. A Hades x Persephone meets Beauty and the Beast smutty fanfic, with weirdly unlikeable main characters and a back cast that feels half developed.
And has someone who has read too many bad fanfics, I of course devoured this one all the same. It takes half the book to hook you, but the claws don’t come out when you finish. I’m going to hate myself the whole time, but I’ll be reading the sequel for sure.
