Similar to The Count of Monte Cristo in its exploration of envy, wrongful imprisonment, and divine justice. Likewise , it also includes a smattering of pure, sweet romance. I love the way Dumas writes. It is so powerful. Both of these works have made me feel so much. Though The Count of Monte Cristo has a slight edge over this story, I love both dearly.
