Nightingale by Marina Kemp

I really enjoyed this read. It's set in a sleepy French village, which is a setting that sometimes seems stuck in the past, but this is a modern but still sleepy one. A young nurse is providing palliative care for an old man and you gradually learn about her as well as the old man and his family. There were a couple of bits of the plot I found a bit off but overall I really enjoyed reading it. It's the author's first book and I'll definitely be looking out for whatever she writes next.
