Passion by Lauren Kate
4.0

In the third installment of the Fallen Series [a:Lauren Kate|2905297|Lauren Kate|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1296679724p2/2905297.jpg] delves even further into Luce and Daniel's love by exploring their past lives together. Each life is a mini history lesson with the common characters we recognize (and a few new ones we don't) guiding us through them. As usual [a:Justine Eyre] creates a majestic story with her precise, rich voice. As a result, it took me six months to finish this audiobook. I also have a serious issue with Daniel's changing appearance throughout time. It is mentioned repeatedly, but I don't understand how that's possible: he isn't dying and being reborn every 20-odd years, so why would he look differently in each life? The more I read about how Luce "recognized his soul" the more frustrated I became. That aside, this was my favorite book in the series so far and I'll definitely be finishing it out with [b:Rapture|13639050|Gabriel's Rapture|Sylvain Reynard|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1343962380s/13639050.jpg|19252471], though I may have to wait a few months to start; I can only take so much Luce/Daniel love at once.
