The Iron Knight
by Julie Kagawa
My bad boy Ash got his own book like he deserved! I did enjoy this story in his perspective though and that Puck and Grimalkin went on his journey with him. I liked the addition of the Big Bad Wolf, but wasn't really necessary. I keep going back and forth about Ariella's part in this story being the Seer. I didn't like it at first because it felt like a poor move to just throw her back in like oh, I didn't really die and I'm going to try to steal you back. Later on though, I realized she was an essential part of the journey helping Ash sort his feelings out and being the ultimate sacrifice in order to receive his soul and all of that made me feel a little better about her involvement. I'm really happy with how Ash and Meghan ended.
