i liked this one. i was genuinely creeped out at some points, the author conveyed deep fear pretty well. i enjoyed the wheetigo horror, it was genuinely scary. but i think this author paced strangely and introduced characters in a big way that we never met again and nothing really mattered when it came to them. good symbols of family, resilience, and grief but just missing some points in a literary way.
