I like nearly every story in this anthology. My favorites are those by Seanan McGuire, Sarah Gailey, Zen Cho, Sam J. Miller, and Alix E. Harrow.
Graphic: Police brutality, Sexual assault, and Homophobia
Moderate: Hate crime
Sam J. Miller’s story includes a non-detailed gay bashing that happens off page.
Ellen Klage’s story has the main character swept up in a 50s gay bar raid. This story is the reason I tagged SA and police brutality. MC is violently groped and roughed up by the cops raiding the bar.
Additionally, the slur in the Klage’s title is repeated a few times in the story itself, though it isn’t used as a slur by the story itself.
