Our Year of Maybe by Rachel Lynn Solomon

4.0

I loved this book. It does a really good job exploring teenage passion as well as change that takes place during those years. The unrequited love... so well done. Peter’s new life and finding out who he really is... so well done. The only thing I didn’t love was the whole premise of a chronically ill person who’s locked away from society. It’s a well-worn, tired trope but at least the author did a good job with it and Peter is definitely a full-fledged and flawed character.
