Worldwalker by Jamie Dalton

5.0

I absolutely loved this book. I couldn’t put this book down and read it within a day.

I definitely think that this book is unique. It definitely was not the same as other fantasy books that I’ve read and it was refreshing to read something mildly similar but also so different. This book had were elves, dwarves, as well magic and non-magic humans. And the romance? Well that was refreshing too – it wasn’t so completely smutty more along the lines of PG-13 or even PG but it was nice to have a break from the in your face romance and smuttiness, lol. And the idea of being able to “worldwalk” while in spirit form or in human form – is brilliant in my opinion and makes this book even more intriguing than it already is.

I love how Jamie does her world building. To me she is a genius and even though this is the second book that I’ve read of hers she always makes me feel like im right there with the characters and in their world. As if I can envision it being right in front of me, right in my eyes. Then the characters! I love how you can feel each and every characters own personality in this book. I love how I was trying to figure out who you could trust and who you couldn’t trust. I love that Jamie has a strong female character who has just as strong of a female mentor.

I can’t wait to see what is going to happen in the second book as well as how far she takes this series.
