I really loved this but I have to think that it's underbaked. Idk if he came to this too early in his life or he just wasn't ready to be honest about where he's currently at in his life but the ending was super lame compared to the first ~80% of the book. The very very very end like the epiphanic moment at the musical? Play? I really liked that last piece. But the one before that about the almost-connection in Germany? I... like...??  I wish we'd gotten more of the advice column that would've been cool

Also as someone from Austin with regular trips to visit family in Oklahoma I just really loved hearing about his youth and how rooted it was in that particular geography.
