Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
4.0
I really went into this book expecting it to be a cute rom-com, but I was surprised by the depth of Chloe and Red. Two struggling souls looking to find their place in the world after life has let them down over, and over again. I loved seeing their confidence in themselves, and each other grow.
The chemistry between Red and Chloe was off the charts. I could not stop smiling at their witty banter, and love how mindful Red was about Chloe's fibromyalgia.
The only thing I have against this book is that the main conflict seemed a bit rushed. Without revealing too much, it stemmed from insecurity, and I do appreciate that Chloe and Red owned up to that fact.
I am looking forward to experiencing the other two sisters' stories the next time I'm in a mood for romance books!
