This book just isnt good. The story was ok, and was actually somewhat interesting, but that was the only good thing. The characters, both on the protagonist’s side and the antagonist’s side are complete idiots, making incredibly stupid decisions and only being saved because of plot convenience or the other side is too dumb to take advantage of the mistake. The story kept getting interrupted by excuses for the protagonist and her love interest to start making out. There were situations that hurt the two lovers relationship, except it never mattered because they always got back together and their relationship never had any impact on the main story. The only time their relationship would impact the main conflict for the series was at the very end, and it was the only good decision the author made about their relationship in the entire book. There were also events that were supposed to be secrets or plot twists, but they just either weren’t set up properly.
