I received a copy of this book through a Goodreads giveaway. Another mystery cleverly crafted by Lippman that kept me wondering "whodunnit". I also enjoyed reading about Tess as a mother - who would have thought?!Lippman cleverly contrasts Tess' constant self-doubt about her mothering skill with the cockiness of Melisandre, a woman with dubious maternal instinct, to say the least.
