I wanted to read this book because it had been recommended on the first episode of Book Riot's When in Romance podcast as having great consent check-ins during the main characters' first time in bed together. But I thought the consent was...meh? Fine? Definitely not anything to write home about.
DNFed because the writing was awful: full of cliches, and all telling, no showing. I have a really hard time DNFing books because I want to judge them in entirety, but this one was just...nope.
