3/5 stars- it sort of reminds me of hunger games but Percy jackson ish

So honestly henning first started it was a tad confusing (specially if your not right into Greek mythology) the characters were a bit hard to follow (as there are many)  but eventually I got the hang of who was related to who and who was on whose side. Sort of.

The characters were actually very realistic for what the author was going for, and the characters were loveable, and some where also hate able which you need in every good book.

I did find the books slow as it did a lot of world and history building; it was also very much about finding clues and figuring things out rather than action; so a lot of the action didn't come in till the last 20% of the book.

All of this being said; this was a really good and solid book: I truly enjoyed the main character, and the other side characters in the book including the ones I think your suppose to hate or maybe find annoying.

If you are a Greek mythology type of person you will for sure want to read this book when it's available.

I look forward to reading the second in this series and more from this author in General.
