10/10. Give me 14 just like this right now. The audiobook is read by two narrators (though it’s 1 POV) and let me just say-chefs kiss. Two words: Scottish accent. I. Am. Feral. I’m pretty sure I was giggling and kicking my feet the whole time. Kidnapping. Forbidden love. Tension. Delicious banter. “Who did this to you?”. Morally grey characters. Wonderful spice. The GROWTH of the FMC is fantastic. She also doesn’t start out as a damsel in distress which we love. The worst part? This wasn’t a standalone, which I unfortunately thought. Second book is out now but not an audiobook for another month. And apparently there will be a third (not sure if it’ll be the final book). This book is what all wattpad authors aspire to be (iykyk). If you’re an audiobook girly and love a good shifter book, do not sleep on this.
