This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.
I have to day, first off, this book hit me harder than Guilty Pleasures did, and I think that has everything to do with Brian.
Brian doesn’t mess around, he’s honest and harsh and so incredibly dangerous. He’s let go of most of his humanity and has no qualms about it but something is drawing him to Mina.
Sweet broken Mina who just wanted her fantasy to be real.
They come together in a delightfully dark way and although it’s not a typical ‘happy ending’ it’s one that was satisfying.
