Suicide Watch by Kelley York
5.0
Well, this is going to be a hard book to review...I mean, with 5 stars you probably won't even read my review, but I still have things to say. What a gut-wrenching honest book. As someone who has struggled with depression, and is *still* struggling with depression, I am beside myself with how well Ms. York handles the subject. There is no preaching, no easy fixes....just a real life look at a few characters who are suffering. And I could relate to so many bits and pieces of each character. There was no glossing over, and no easy answers. But wow, what a feeling of hope at the end.
Amazing characters, great chemistry between characters (chemistry doesn't always have to be romantic), and writing that reads like butter....I can't even write, now I Just sound stupid. So yeah, what I want to say most of all is just how *real* and *honest* this book is. Loved it. Thank you Ms. York.
