Well, this was quite literally the longest 14hr listen to ever exist. I honestly don’t understand how this book stretched so long, it should have been a 7 hour listen. There was nothing wrong with the plot exactly, it was just kind of flat and I never really bought into the connection between Adalyn and Cameron. I personally thought there was no turning point where you feel their connection. I found Adalyn insufferable. I kept waiting for me to like her more, to see more of her character, but nothing really happened with her personality until 91%. If this was meant to be enemies to lovers, I don’t see it. It was really just Adalyn being a jerk from the start and than relaxing enough for others to talk to her. I honestly think this book would have been better if it was edited down.
