An improvement from the first book. This one was more gripping and faster paced than Thorns and Roses. I think the highlight was Rhysand’s character development and Feyre’s growth in her power. It left on a better cliffhanger, so I’m curious to see what the next book has in store. I could do without the graphic smut (I have to wonder why it’s considered YA seeing how descriptive it is), and I do think it could be shorter. But overall, I liked it.
