Bluestar's Prophecy
by Erin Hunter
Bluestar's Prophecy is an incredible book. Bluestar is a very relateable character, and I admit, I really love stories where the character is torn between what they want and what is right. This is exactly my kind of story.
It shows a lot of Bluestar's life, especially her younger days. It starts with innocent Bluekit and her sister, Snowkit. Bluekit always has had ambitions to become a leader, but she did not know how much suffering it would take to get there. I can't say much at all without spoilers, but she loses many cats close to her, in one terrible blow after another. She comes to a point where she must choose what is most important for the overall sake of her Clan: her family or her future leadership. This is such a heartbreaking story.
