Ok, the story and the characters in this one worked for me, but the way the story was told did NOT.
This is one of those books that flip flop between the past and the present, which made it difficult for me to be really drawn into either time, it ruined the momentum of the story for me. I found myself skimming the past stuff, even though that's where most of the best sex was, just to get back to the present, which, to me, was the meat of the story. I think this book would have worked much better if it had had a prologue set today, followed by their initial meeting five years ago, and then finished up with all the stuff in the present.
Cameron DOES write some of the hottest sex around, I just wish she would tone down the usage of the words "chute" and "channel", which just aren't sexy to me, and the authors uses a LOT.
