While I don’t think it is as good as The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, this is a very enjoyable read and a nice way to spend time  in the world. While they aren’t the same characters, they have connections to the characters from the first book so you won’t have to learn all new characters. I found it enjoyable to learn more about this amazing world.
