3 stars is for Julian (he's the best and I honestly think Dahlia doesn't deserve him) and for me because I finished this book even after wanting to DNF it a couple of times. It's also for the translations on the footnotes because I'm too lazy to open google translate and the author made it easier for everyone lol.
Anyway, I actually liked the blurb and the cute cover that's why I wanted to read this. However, the execution and writing is disappointing. I feel like I'm reading a wattpad story halfway through the book. And why does it have to be 500+ pages long? I think some chapters/scenes could be removed and the story will still make sense.
Dahlia annoyed the hell out me too. I know her feelings after the breakup and all that are valid but I hated how she trusted everyone except Julian. I think her character needs to be fleshed out more or maybe because I just can't connect to her at all.
