An Unnatural Vice by KJ Charles

5.0

Oh yes, a great second book in this trilogy.
It did start a bit slow but wound up to a tense read while progressing the earldom story and giving us a great cliff-hanger ending - and only got to wait til October for the conclusion.
You get a good feel of how precarious life was for the have nots - one misstep and here is the gutter - and how hard it was to keep what little you had. The fog was almost like a character itself and admirably described.
Nathaniel and Justin had a good antagonistic start to their relationship with Nathaniel out to expose Justin as a charlatan.
Roll on book 3!
