Ancient Evil by Brent J. Griffiths

4.0

Normally a triple timeline would be confusing, but the author did a creditable job of making certain you were well-grounded in the current line before diving in. As I love all things Scotland, this story spoke to me on a visceral level. I enjoyed the constant twists and rich descriptions of settings in each of the storylines.

1994, 2015 and 7875 - evil knows no boundaries. I think my favorite line was the one of the broken man exacting his revenge upon the evil that crippled him. The college personalities seemed a bit stereotypical to me, less fleshed out than the others. Still, it is an enjoyable story and not your typical 'good vs. evil' tale.
