Kristin, I'm writing this just in case you happen to see it sometime. I'm not one for review writing, but I just wanted to let you know I adored this book. I've been meaning to read it for a long time, finally got the chance. I have no complaints at all, just a fabulous, beautiful book, and a brave story with "fiercely independent" :) pacing and characters. My own debut novel, "The Islands at the End of the World" (Random House), comes out in August of 2014. Know that your book has left an imprint on the final draft just as it was due to my publisher. Nothing in particular, just a boost of confidence to my own female protagonist, Leilani. Thanks for a great read, and I can't wait to follow up with the rest of your series.
