My review for goodreads:
This book was interesting and good. It captured me with the first sentence, and then the premise of a reality show that actually promoted stable relationships continued to lure me in.
It was so refreshing to see reality stars not taken out of context, despite the need for viewership and ratings. And Mariah is quite the class act! As some readers have said, there were those moments where you wanted to hold Mariah upside down for being so oblivious that she was causing her own stressors, but I stuck through it. Despite this you definitely were cheering her and her match on.
Moreover it's always a bonus when writers are able to make everything mentioned have a purpose. Danielle did this in a clever way that had me smirking through the reveal. She definitely created an oppurtunity to write about the other contestants so hopefully they might be fleshed out more in the Reunion, my next read. All in all: It's nsfw, and can kind of be a bit of a slow burn, but, I enjoyed it.
