Not the best Starwars Legends book, but not the worst either. Although, the story itself was pretty well written, I think the lackluster lineup of characters made it a bit dull. I don't mind conflict and turmoil within the MC, but Lanoree was borderline stupid sometimes. Leaving Tre behind and announcing her arrival at the top of her lung in the final moments, all this makes her less appealing as a MC . Also, some questions have been left unanswered which, in my opinion, should have been answered in this very book; mystery of Gree, Dal's journey after the "first death" etc . The book had some really good moments too; the concept of Ashla and Bogan, the descriptions of temples and the whole journey system; all these things made the reading worthwhile.
