I enjoyed the writing and the FMC. I was excited for the love interest being the God of Death but it fell kind of flat. I love the smut, don’t get me wrong, but they literally barely spoke to each other after they had sex for the first time. Then the only time they spoke about even slightly liking each other was just when they talked about how good they did the nasty together.
I feel zero attachment or interest in their future relationship. Maybe if they had actually spent more time together outside the bedroom and actually got to know one another. Again, their conversation always turned to Death just saying how much he liked being inside her and making her come.
Also we get glimpses of her having some type of power, but after she gets freaky with Death, it’s never brought up again. She’s just your everyday ordinary mortal on the brink of Stockholm Syndrome.
I did enjoy the authors writing style though, just dislike the current development of the FMC MMC “relationship”.
