What a series of tragedy, heartbreak and dare I say, happily ever after? Demon, oh Demon. The pain I felt for this character dealt so many shit cards. I am sitting here trying to understand how to recover or rejoice at the completion of this heavy book. The dark reality of drug abuse, addiction, death, foster care and everything in between tore my heart in two, too many times to count from the very first page until the last of this book. Demon’s angels were many, but so were his demons. Bless the kind-hearted; in this book but especially real life. I want to create a world where none of the bad things from this book are real 😭
