Babel
by R.F. Kuang
I struggled a bit in the beginning of this book, but after chapter two I just couldn't stop reading. I loved how diverse the cast of characters was, especially having a muslim character that's done so well.
I love R.F. Kuang's writing. colonization, and translation weaved together to show how far one group will go to enrich themselves and leave the rest in flames. It was a little bit repetitive in the middle, but I enjoyed it very much. And thank you queen for that character's death 🙂↕️.
That ending!! I didn't expect to cry, but I did. It was the perfect ending and I just felt sad it had to end this way.
