I was really hyped up for this but was let down so bad I'm in a hole.

I recognized and understand that Shiloh's trauma is valid and healing still has to occur but she is vicitimzed throughout the WHOLE thing. The poor girl is a literal damsel in distress all the time and the brothers are always there for her which the concept was sweet? But they start caring for her out of nowhere which was always between cringey and corny.

She kisses all of them, and states she doesn't want to choose. She calls them all friends but lets one of the twins eat her out. That's all about the smut you will get. I read reviews of the other books and supposedly there's more in there but book one was more of sexual tension which I didn't have a problem with.
However, The story was SO SLOW.  I just felt like I was holding my breath for more but MORE NEVER CAME.

Some flirting/cutesy/funny scenes with the brothers but the bad overrode the any good I tried to see. I was invested in the subplot of Mr. X but I saw the other reviews for books 2-4
and it seemed people were still let down and stated it was anticlimactic. Do with that what you will.

Oh and
she revealed why she was in witness protection as soon as Knox (the oldest brother) pushed her to it and it's just like... 😐 also, I never want to read marvel and lingerie in the same sentence ever again.

Don't get me wrong. I feel for Shiloh and her trauma and grief. I could relate to some extent and some things but I can't sit through more books of the author victimizing her and having the plot go nowhere.

I literally got PTSD from this book and if there's one takeaway:

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!
