The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh

4.0

Great beach book, if you like your beach books with a bit of meat on them. Victoria is a terrific character, complex and terrifying. The flowers are super and a wonder part of the story. The ending is a bit unreal, and that might be annoying if it wasn't clear from the beginning that this was going to have to be a happy ending book. Before that, though, I found myself crying (on the plane!), so Diffenbaugh does give you some emotional stuff, too. Overall, a book that will leave you feeling hopeful. And you'll never look at a bouquet the same way again!
