I really enjoyed reading this nostalgic and charming coming of age story that had a quirky blend of humor and heart.  While I don’t have a artistic bone in my body. I could definitely remember being an awkward teen in 1996 small town, before having access internet, and wondering what I was gonna do all summer long… I felt a familiar kinship with Frankie that made me love her story even more.

My only criticism would be that I felt like the end kind of cut off abruptly, I would liked to have seen what the fallout of her secret being exposed finally was…
