The Scot Beds His Wife
by Kerrigan Byrne
Loved the Wild West outlaw beginning to this story. You have a woman on the run, being chased by her dead husbands outlaw brothers. She switches identities with a woman who doesn’t want to return to Scotland where she’s inherited property.
A man raised by his brutish father who is determined to be his own man. When they collide over the property, things go wonky.
There were times this book really caught my attention but then it got mired in drama and lost me.
It was not terrible but it was not all it could have been either.
