Someday, Maybe by Onyi Nwabineli

I am torn on my review of this book. I will say this book is about grief and coping with death so it can be very triggering. I find the book relatable in the sense that when someone dies it shakes up your core and you have a hard time getting back to reality. However, in the book the main character was able to lose her job, not eat, literally just lay around for months! That is not the reality of the average person I know. Most people can’t give up on life since we have bills, mortgages, etc. bereavement is usually 3 days and her job told her to take all the time she needed! I think it is a solid debut, but just a little repetitive and unrealistic.
