Tagging Bases by Christopher J. Brice

I did like this book, but I think the style just isn’t for me. The pacing of the book was quick and it was a relatively easy read.

While I did like it, there were a few things that kept it from being a GREAT book for me:

This didn’t feel like a throuple to me. The relationships among the three felt very separate. They were barely together as a throuple-the dates, the spicy scenes, and even just hanging out they were usually separate. I would have loved to see a 🌶️ scene with all three.

I found Roy and Olivia to be insufferable. Roy blaming his drinking on his brother’s relationship? And the horrible dares Olivia made the guys do and pushing Daniel in a fountain and leaving ?! I did not think either had any redeeming qualities.

I did LOVE Charlie’s parents- they were the best side characters. I would literally just die of mortification if my parents said some of the things they did. I really enjoyed chapters with them. I would have liked to have read a scene with Charlie initially telling them about being in a relationship with two men.
