Oops, Ali did it again. I love the Lachlan family and Ali has created another cracker story.

Hawk, the eldest, gets his time to shine in Easy Tiger. A tough exterior that hides his soft interior, Hawk would do anything for his family. Ever since his dad died, he has felt he has to be the stoic sensible one, making sure his father’s legacy lives on.

Hannah literally falls into Hawk’s life, coming to Prickle Island zoo to write an exposé on the zoo. She didn’t expect to find Hawk and is torn between her job and her heart.

I loved this slow burn, enemies-to-lovers. Whilst I missed the Kiwi-isms and monkey poo of She’s a Keeper that had me laughing out loud, Hawk and Hannah had a great story with very distinct voices from Lark and Logan. That radio mishap had them channelling the craziness that was Lark and Logan but with their own spin.

Can’t wait for Finch’s story next as I think that will involve some craziness again.
