This book had interesting characters and a hero’s journey. The writing had a huge range of vocabulary, many words I was unfamiliar with. Lots of descriptive language and words/language she also created for this world. I enjoyed the characters, but sometimes found it hard to follow what was happening, which could have been b/c there were often 2 different names that referred to a character. It was creative and my 13 yo enjoyed it.
