Capture by Rachel Van Dyken
5.0

There is the girl who doesn’t speak. And the boy who talks all the time. He is a famous actor; she is just the girl who works for him. Together, they could be so much more.

5 stars. Believe me, I don’t hand those out easily.
Why do I love this book?

Writing style: awesome (witty, deep, full of love)
Character: awesome (the characters are all adorable – I didn't know this was a series and originally wanted to write the following: I especially love that we’ve got men who commit themselves to women. Don’t have this so often in books, or normally we’ve them in series but then this gradually happens. Here, this is just a fact. They are married or have a girlfriend. Love it.
Yeah, sucks that this is not true because it is in fact a series and did indeed happen gradually. I was a tid bit disappointed but hey...)
Plot: great (I love the story)

The characters are awesome. Our heroine is 17 and she’s so mature. Also, she is one of the strongest people I know. I think it’s odd that some of the others say she’s ‘High school’, ‘immature’ but I don’t think so. There are many book characters out there who are about 23 and much more immature than she is.
And then there’s our Hollywood boy. He’s such a cute guy; plus, he’s humble and strong, too. Even though he didn’t have the best upbringing (to put it mildly), he never let this affect him too much. He’s everybody’s darling and that’s lovely.
And all the other characters? D’s sister, her brother-in-law, her two best friends the band members, Zane? *Swoon*. Seriously, all of them are so awesome and they’re the perfect family. Love it.

One thing I did not like: the whole whale and aquarium story. I think it’s cruel to keep whales in such places and think one shouldn’t portray this quite like it is done in this book.

But yeah, great book. So glad I’ve stumbled upon it!!
