I kept thinking this book would just get a little bit better, it meanders quite a bit. I've always had difficulty engaging with a book told from the standpoint of an unsympathetic character. I did not hate this, just continued to read thinking, I know there's something interesting coming here...and eventually it did, but pretty much the down to the last 20% of the book. Luckily it was a fairly quick read, so I didn't feel too cheated. An interesting piece and premise, but not a compelling read.
