I cried multiple times during this book. Which is the highest compliment I think I can pay to an author.
I was very fortunate to get a copy of this for free, because the author Bonnie Garmus sent our store signed copies for the employees as a thank you for being one of the highest sellers! So a big thank you to her and also my coworkers, I'm not sure if I would have read this book otherwise!
I loved the way this book was written. There were at least three times where I kept telling myself "just one more chapter, just till the next break in the text" until I was nearly late to work. This book was so lovable, and I will seriously be recommending it to every person I know (and be using it as payback for Cassie making me cry over Lovely War. Sorry if this spoils your christmas present, Cas.)
Anyway. I love this book. Might have to start a second "favorites" shelf in my room so I can add this to it.
